    Hi
I recently got attic converted into a new man cave.
I have UPC broadband with Cisco modem/router which is downstairs in sitting room.
I now have my pc, bluray player and smart tv in the attic.
I have one 15 metre RJ45 Ethernet Cat5E LAN patchwork cable lead running from downstairs up the outside wall and into attic that I have plugged in to my pc.
How can I get more of my devices connected to the router?
Will a Ethernet port switch with 4 ports work or would I have to use homeplugs?

I was looking at this on adverts.ie
    http://touch.adverts.ie/desktop-hardware/netgear-5-port-fast-ethernet-switch/294520

    Would that do the job?
    Thanks
