Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why is it you never get quite as drunk the second night of a binge?

Like for example, if you spent one night getting so langers you wound up naked on the floor of Copperface Jack's (or some regional equivalent) then the next night no matter what you drank you'd never be quite as langers as you were on night one? Maybe the mythbusters need to lend a hand, who knows but it's always been my particular experience. What say ye, pissheads of AH?

Well then. To the hospital with me. Any hospital rant threads you can point me to?

After the first night my stomach's normally a bit iff-y anyway so I wouldn't drink near as much the second night, or I'd at least drink slower.

im not a doctor but i medically advise you to eat a kabab now so you will be in tip top notch for more drinking tomorrow.

its a short term replication of what happens alcoholics and tolerance, induction of liver enzymes that break down alcohol faster, you need more to get to the same state...

part of the reason why a drink can steady you on a real bad hangover or why after two or so days you have the shakes and might need a drink to get you going,

This is also the reason why if you have a big night comming up, you should always go out for a few the night before,

Your body knows what to expect, so it handles it better.

Because Friday is usually night one and you've gone straight to the pub from work?

i.e. your stomach is lined on day 2 from the hangover eating...
