    Chapter One and Pearl were not available for the times required so after reviewing your suggestions and consulting MenuPages :D I booked Hugo's of Merrion Row.

    Seems like a nice place with good reviews...fingers crossed!

    I would second Chameleon. The 'rijst tafel' dishes allow for sharing, quite romantic :)
    About the low cushioned seats though, those are for larger groups, it's unlikely you would get those if there's only 2 of you. I requested those seats before and never got them. Still though a great place that you should consider.
