Cavalier King Charles - Licking

We have a 2yr old golden King Charles. One day, all of a sudden really, she started doing something I can only describe as 'trying to lick the sky'. She just lifts her head up as high as she can and licks and licks at the air, for up to 10 minutes at a time.

This all started about 14-12 months ago. Does anyone have any King Charles' that do this? Is it just weird, normal, or is she lacking something in diet/other? Very well loved, exercised and watered, so no issues there.

This can be a symptom of Bloat. Does she do it after mealtimes?

More than 50% of Cavaliers have the same condition, I really hope this is not the cause, but I also hope you have pet insurance. Take your dog to the vet.
