The one thing that Trapattoni was supposed to have done for Ireland is shore up our defence. Based on the games so far in the Euros that is a complete and utter fallacy therefore what is he being paid for and the even more sobering thought is what is the plan for the 2014 WC qualifying campaign.

I know we have limited player resources but I under the impression that at least we were supposed to play as a unit, the performances so far in the Euros suggest that there is absolutely no understanding or organisation in this team.

Wow, I never expected anything from this game, but it's amazing how poor a side like Spain can make us look when we do get into their half for 10 seconds. We have no idea of what to do with the ball in their half whatsoever.
