I think the rhino fails to kill or maim a feinting or ducking Hippo on its initial charge and gets chomped by a very agressive and relentless hungry hippo, and is hurt greviously

I seen a programme on Nat geo wild, not even a pride of lions could take the ****er down. Rhinos only shot would be a charge and the horn hit a vital organ.

There are a few different types of Rhino. Black, white, Vietnamese Javan, Indian Javan etc.

Black rhinos are smaller but are very dangerous and incredibly aggressive. they also have a huge horn so id say they would win.

It depends on what type of rhinoceros. An Indian rhinoceros doesn't try and gore you it tries to bite you. While an African rhinoceros does indeed try and gore you a hippopotamus can only bite you whereas a rhinoceros charges and gores or bites. I'd have to say the rhinoceros as it's more mobile and can reach speeds over 30 miles an hour even though hippopotamus' are extremely aggressive.

Tigers will chance it against Mugger crocs and gharials, but tigers stay well away from Saltwater crocs and are rarely found near any waterways that have salties in them. A fully grown saltie is just too big and too powerful for a tiger.

Salties are huge awesome beasties that scare sharks too.

Hippos aren't afraid of normal crocs , but I wonder if they have ever met a salt water one ?

Hippos tend not to get too close to really big Nile crocs, although they can knock seven shades out of medium to large ones. Gustave, the giant Nile croc, has been seen to attack hippos as he has grown too big to catch quick prey so a Saltie in the 20 foot bracket or bigger would most likely be able to do likewise.
