final cut and mac problem

    So i have a new mac computer 10.7.3 operating system and can't run final cut pro 5 anyone else got this problem??

    When you say you can't run it does FCP give you an error saying it can't install it or does the program just crash?

    If it's just crashing you might want to try uninstalling FCP and reinstalling it from scratch.

    I'm running FCP 5 on an older OS than yours with no problems.

    Think you may be out of luck off.the.walls.

    As its a powerPC app then its no longer supported in Lion.
    Although the same was said for Logic pro 8 and I had no trouble running it in Lion.
    I couldn't install it in Lion so I downgraded to Snow Leopard.
    I installed Logic and then Lion and it ran no problem.

    I don't think it looks good though...
