    Seen the following on the embassy website that might save a few families having to travel to Dublin for U.S. passport or citizenship services:

    This Consular Message from the U.S. Embassy in Dublin is being issued to inform U.S. citizens that representatives from the Embassy will be providing consular services in Galway and Donegal on the dates listed below. An outreach event is currently in planning for Killarney in August, further information will be posted on the Regional Outreach section of our website in due course.
    During the outreach we will be accepting U.S. passport applications, Consular Report of Birth Abroad applications and notarials. As it is a presidential election year we will also be providing information to assist with voting Absentee Ballots. Please refer to the attached instructions and required documentation for the service you require.
    U.S. citizens wishing to avail of these services please send an email to the correct location with full name, service required, contact telephone number and suggested appointment time.

    • Tuesday 3rd of July (10am-2pm and 3pm.-7pm)
