Best/quickest route-Galway to Baltimore?

Hi, I'm driving to Baltimore in 1 hour. Was planning on going through Cork, out past Clon. But I see on Google Maps there's a few different routes: N18- via Croom, Kanturk N20- via Croom, Buttervant Anyone know which would be quickest? Cheers, pa.

I would stick with the N20-N71 route through Cork city or if you need to avoid the city centre leave the n20 in Blarney and go through Tower and Ballincollig before joining the Cork South Link. The roads through Bweeng or Millstreet are much worse.
