Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Its ok we can test ourselves against them in the World Cup qualifying campaign (if Trap is still in charge thats a sobering thought eh!).

Sweden will get past us ok, they are monsters of qualifying campaigns

Ibrahimovic is by a mile the best player on the pitch, only a complete fool would't rate him. It's just a shame the rest of the Swedish tean is letting him down.

Just to be clear, I was saying he is lazy, not that I don't rate him. Easily the best player on the pitch tonight for me. But lazy as fùck so he could have been a lot better.
But he hasn't really been lazy. He is constantly showing for the ball.

To score a goal like that after all that has happened to him. Having to abandon your own home because of the roughness of your neighborhood at that age. His Uncle Phil is doing a sublime job with him so far.

    Carltons happy for him .

What are you talking about? Koscielny has been on the bench for France, Mertesacker for Germany, Rosicky has been average, van Persie has contributed to the Dutch going out, ok Bendtner has been good

    Those that have played.

The match director really had a hard on for Wayne Rooney.

Happy for Walcott - he takes a ridiculous level of stick from his own club fans.

Something I noticed again tonight, it feels like the refs have got a directive from UEFA to officiate the matches as poorly as they possibly can.

A raft of boggling decisions all throughout the tournament.

No he didn't constantly show for it. He showed for it sometimes, he stood still and watched other times. Bizarre attitude from him.

They will play like they tried to play tonight, start and try to get a goal early and then hang on for dear life.

Apres match boys will have to do a skit with Brady being a grumpy git . .

Be funny if they had Brady calling Darragh Moloney Bill in that drony voice they use . . "The game was very low quality Bill"

My advice would be to stop listening to the guys on RTE and start watching him play.

I just hope Sweden play as poor as possible v France now, need a France win to be sure

Because Ukraine and England will play each other, and they beat Ukraine?

Actually, they and England could lose and there GD could be worse, so sorry about that. My bad.

Watch the replay again; when Hart saved the original shot, the ball was going to go out for a corner until it hit Johnson.

Thought Martin Olsson was excellent tonight for Sweden. Made Johnson look like a fool

Not difficult, to be honest. How Johnson got the gig ahead of Micah Richards still baffles me.

Kallstrom looked good in bits and bobs, but yea, your point basically stands.

That was a great game to watch - had plenty of goals, little playacting and high energy football.

From an Irish perspective we will have to be wary of Sweden - they can cause us serious problems in qualifying for WC2014.

Still so inconsistent though, he may turn himself into a great left back, but he may go the other way too

From an Irish perspective we don't have a hope against Sweden unless we actually put them under pressure (Jack?) and not give them time and space, they dont like being under pressure but will play around you for fun if you let them.

    bizarre statement.

It was meant light heartedly. I'm a fan of Youngs but he was brutal tonight.
