These transfer stories are a little weird for me, RVP and Moura? A striker and a winger. Re: Moura, we are ok for wingers so it only makes sense if Nani is off which I don't think he is or if Fergie see's something in Moura that was to good to pass up, the next Ronaldo or something.

Re: RVP, he is top quality so I can understand not wanting to miss this opportuniy. It makes more sense than the Moura deal even though we are not short in that area uness Berbatov is gone, even if he doesn't go with Chico having a tough time last season it makes it a reasonable buy.

If there is anything to the Sahin rumours it will be the pick of the three buys. Exactly what we need right now and possibly for a good price.

If we dont get Sahin and the other two do come to UTD then Fergie is banking on Clev or Ando alongside Carrick and it would feel like another wasted transfer window imo. Bit of a gamble. I've watched Clev for team GB, he was good, nothing more, but the opposition was so poor at times I got the feeling in a CL knockout against a top side he would struggle.

This. Welbeck looks hungry and on it. Rooney seems to be on holiday mode still.

Want more tempo in the 2nd half but I imagine changes will slow it all down further

Think hes been on holiday since May because he was the same at the euros.

Wouldnt mind seeing anderson and chicarito getting some game time. Kagawa got a lot of time in Asia but think we would improve the overall play if he were to come on

Is Jones injured? I know evans and smalling are. A lot of the younger defenders that usually play for the reserves are off playing for man utd XI at the moment in england.

Some decent play, Welbeck's general play has been outstanding, and most importantly, Vidic played 60 minutes. Rooney has been the worst player on the field.

Kagawa is on right now, and has already played some great passes in the final third.

Sure why not!

Regardless of whether he's the greatest manager of all time or not, if we sign Moura and RVP and don't sign at least one midfielder and at least one fullback, it's a shocking error on Fergie's part IMO.
