Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Holy ****. Subs on for Barca include Xavi, Piquet and Fabregas!

And I wrong for being delighted at Rooney coming off?
No, he was terrible in his two pre-season appearances, way off the pace. Kagawa on the other hand has been outstanding, especially when linking up with Nani and Welbeck.

Why do we persist with Carrick at centre half?

    Great play there!

Kagawa has done more in three minutes than Rooney did in 45 :P

Good pass from Val, unlucky from Kagawa

Easing Vidic back in and numerous injuries in that position.

Kagawa has done more in his 2 minutes than Rooney did in 45.

If Kagawa starts regularly in behind the striker, for 8.5m in FPL, he will be unbelievable value.

    Just sayin'

Kagawa is so comfortable on the ball. First touch is Berbaesque. Rooney take note.

Rooney adds Barca to his missed penalty list. That list also includes Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool and Arsenal.

    Some going.

His balance and weight of pass are brilliant too. He seems to love a through ball with the outside of his foot.

    Very exciting signing.

De Gea still did really well to save that!

Probably hasn't been said in a while but Evra has been very good tonight.

That ball is joining that space thing on Mars.

I actually laughed at Young's shot there...

    4 more subs for Barca....

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,944 ✭✭✭KH25

    Berba :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,623 ✭✭✭double GG

Berbatov get's his game against Barca 2 years later.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,320 ✭✭✭v3ttel

Everything is coming down the left hand side for Barca. Evra defensively poor as usual.

Ashley Young & Anderson have been anonymous :(

Valencia, Nani, Kagawa all showing neat touches. De Gea, excellent :)

    That's a pen!

Edit: may have been a bit hasty, would have been harsh.

That seemed a more blatent peno than the one in the first half...

    Not a pen for me.

Just to interupt the game talk... SSN reporting that RVP flying into Manchester for initial talks. Am i right to not get too exited about the prospects of him signing yet. I mean even if he does agree personal terms, we still have to agree a reasonable price with Arsenal....

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,944 ✭✭✭KH25

Ah Busquets...cheating as always. Glad Nani kicked out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,623 ✭✭✭double GG

    Oh Paddy Paddy, Boosquets. :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,320 ✭✭✭v3ttel

    Sergio Busquets.

Such a great player, but a horribly cynical and dislikeable bastard.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,709 ✭✭✭shrewdness

Sergio Scumbag up to his old tricks, god he makes my blood boil.

You should be a news reader. I would watch the **** out of it.

"In other news, NASA has put some space thing on Mars. The thing bears an uncanny resemblance to Wall-E.

I've had it on for the last few mins. Can't be much in it if they mentioned it.

Nothing on the ticker at all. Nothing even on the white news strip. Only stories they had for the Premier league were Stoke related. Nothing on the website either. Surely this would be big news if true.

    United Reserves are
    1-0 up
against Accrington Stanyley (who are they?) in the Lancashire Senior Cup Final.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,623 ✭✭✭double GG

Anderson was very good tonight. Nothing spectacular but very solid and a promising showing.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,944 ✭✭✭KH25

Carrick did well there. Fair play to him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,553 ✭✭✭✭Copper_pipe

3 penalties each if it ends in a draw

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,623 ✭✭✭double GG

    Fantastic by Valencia. :pac::cool:

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,944 ✭✭✭KH25

Who'd take the penalties? Nani, Kagawa,Young?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,950 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

And that is why Valencia will never be a full time right back

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,623 ✭✭✭double GG

    Penalties.
