Unable to take criticism? Really? Juan wasn't doing some sort of captains job - he was balling the lad out of it aggressively. Juan was just as stupid in that situation as Raf was.

Raf was stupid for trying the flick, but both his and Juans reactions were stupid, not just Raf's.

Yes Really. Raf just made two mistakes in the space of a few seconds that was putting the Brazilian defense back under fire. Not to mention that Raf cost them the first goal. He was poor today and Juan let him know and rightly so. I would expect nothing less from Rio or Vidic if he was doing this in a UTD shirt.

Is Raf above a bollocking? No. Juan and the rest of the Brazil team were not great as a whole today but Raf looked like a real weak link so letting him know this and he needs to improve is correct.

Juan walked away from Raf in the end. It looked like Raf wanted to keep escalating the situation and he was being way over the top aggressive towards Juan, after HE had made the mistakes. I like Raf very much but today he showed a weakness in his game and attitude that needs to worked on.

The Kagawa Cleverley Combination may work in home games against lower table opposition but don't think it'd work against much else.

It's very attacking and open. Nice to watch mind you! Cleverley has been outstanding as has Kagawa who in every match I've seen him play looks like he's going to score a goal. Great quick feet and isn't afraid to shoot.

Rooney is still lacking pretty much everything.

Evra and Nani have played well.
Young hasn't done anything to note. Everyone else looks comfortable.

Another factor that endears fans to Rafael is his commitment and love for Man Utd, theres a few players whose commitment could be questioned. Alot of modern players are motivated by money and fame but everytime Rafael steps on the field he gives it his all. He was criticised today for standing upto Juan when he clearly made a mistake but it was a measure of his desire and determination.

I guarantee you Rafael is motivated by money and fame.

Not sure fame is fair to assume

Raf made a stupid error but Juan put his face in another team-mates face. That is not on. If you did that in a night-club you would have the police told you were looking for a fight. Rafael reacted, because Juan fronted like he wanted to hit him, and Rafael don't play dat. Raf never been adout dat. Raf aint neva, neva been about playin' no ****.

Sorry, went off on a 'Gator' from The Other Guys rant there, point being, get in Rafael's face like you want a fight = Get a fight.

There is giving a team-mate a bollocking, and then there is acting like a drunken hard-man in a night club. Juan did the latter.

And whatever about looking like a weak link in the final, Rafael has been one of Brazil's best players this tournament, and it's not just me saying that. He is also the best right back in the world in his age group. Some people seem to think this is what he will be like forever, eh, no, he turned 22 last month.

He isn't going to shift that in the space of a week.

The thing I don't understand about the RVP situation is that why are Arsenal holding out ont he transfer if as were led to belive he made it clear he only wants to join us. No point in keeping an unsettled player in the sqaud especially one refusing to sign a new contract and has only a year left. Why doesn't Wenger or the boards just agree to sell him rather then disrupt the start of their season. Surely RVP won't play to 100% if they hold onto him as his mond will be on pastures new. Is it just arrogance on Wengers part. Hes hardly just suddenly going to decide to move to Juve. The longer this crap goes on the bigger fear that he will end up with City who arsenal sold Nasri to so he must consider them as lesser rivals then us. Its all childish really

The drunken squaring of people in a nightclub analaogy with what happened in the game today is ridiciulous but if we have to go there, Juan ran over to him and gave him an earfull after he had made another mistake. If you want to make the analogy, it was like being in a club trying to enjoy yourself and some annoying guy is always bumbing into you and knocking over your drink so you have a word, then the guy goes off on you.

Listen Raf is good,I like him, he just had a bad day today though. You have to be fully concentrated when your out their, he'll learn from this. I hope.

It would be good business if we could get that perfect player, but not particularly needed, we have Rio, Vidic, Jones, Smalling and Evans at centre back, of course injuries are taking the toll, but they are short term problems for the most part.

Who could you sign that would be willing to be back up for Evra who is rarely injured and be 6th choice centre back?

Would he do a better job then Carrick or Wootton for example?

    I say it again, John O Shea!:pac:

I thought O'Shea leaving was him asking for first team football. He wasnt going to get that with us anymore so he was righfully granted his request.

4 players went up for a header in the box and the Hannover lad just rose above them all. Giggs on for Young, unsure about anyone else as i didn't see the first half...

    Thank you!

    Important touch by Kagawa

The players are still moving too far away from each other and making simple pass opportunities far more difficult than they need to be.

also with the way he's been playing Rooney should be playing deeper and getting involved more.
