They have loads of callers on hold. But when Wayne does not have a caller on air, it gives the impression that you can get straight through to him.

If they have long calls on air, they get less people calling in.

Their policy seems to be quick brief calls. I think it's so that the callers don't start pestering him for details and exposing the fact that he's talking shíte.
