This is one of the ok ones, the others have leaves that have been ravaged..I've put down slug pellets but i'm wondering is there any point in leaving the ones that have been badly damaged alone? will they sprout new leaves if i leave them alone? it's russian giant that i have growing...should i start again? heartbreaking to see them having been savaged..

    any help appreciated.

Hi I am interested in any replies also, I am growing a sunflower and when I seen the leaves being eaten I got some spray from the garden centre and sprayed it , seems ok now. My flower is in a pot ,when should I transfere into the garden or should I put it in a bigger pot?

A roll of this around your pots and you wont have any more problems.:)

Dont worry about it..the sunflower will grow plenty more leaves and a bit of damage like taht wont hurt it at all.
