Try to jab and 1-2 combo while going to the body and the head. I like to throw a jab to the body followed by an immediate modified straight to the head. The jab will drop the defences and the straight will land for some major damage.

Do not get trapped against the ropes/in a corner. If you try to stand up and fight against him he will knock you out as he is way to powerful.

Finally - constantly reset your block. You can do this by tapping the block button. Each time you get hit your block weakens but if you are resetting it constantly it will always remain stronger (this takes practice)
