Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I'm Moving to Vancouver for 2 years in July on my own and was wondering does anyone know of any good social networking sites for meeting with people in the same boat. I've tried Irishabroad.com buts its not great.

Any recommendations or any advice in general would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
    Derek

    www.meetup.com

Type in vancouver on the right hand side and there are tons of groups that meet up with various interests. Get to meet people of all walks of life! :)

    www.moving2vancouver.com is another good website

Also try typing Vancouver into Facebook and see what groups come up. There is a football/GAA association over there I think. Plus some of the Irish bars are bound to know of events or clubs where you could meet other Irish folks.

Played with the Vancouver Harps a couple of years ago great bunch of lads and a good scene over there. Trip over the rockies to tournaments is a brilliant experience!
