Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Knew that thread title would get yer attention..... :p

In the Comic this week there is a clarification that a Silage Contractor near Mallow is NOT cutting silage for €100 an acre, as reported the week before. :D:D:D

He got a front page photo this week for his troubles, along with a short article inside which does not actually clarify what is being charged by him this year, other than it's not €100 ;););)

Paper never refused ink. I don't know why I read that paper. It annoys me more than I get out of it.

Any prices you see quoted on it be it livestock mart reports, factory reports, grain, ration, straw and contracting prices are always the exception rather than the norm.

If you believed what it said half the time you feel like you are hard done by (if you are buying) or you have too high of expectations if you are selling.

Any contractor charging €100 for PC pit silage for small jobs would want his head examined.

I can assure you it is alot more than €100
The reason he wanted this mentioned is he obliged the IFJ to give an interview the previous week on how his season was progressing and never mentioned any price as that is nobodys business but the farmer who is paying it.
They obviously fooked up and published a random figure which is why he demanded it be put right this week so those he has cut for already @ €xxx's dont get the back up and ask wtf.

    Pretty fair I think
