Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

    So i'm looking to put together a metal cover band (am well up for writing originals too, but due to time constraints-i work fuill time- covers are more the likely route to go) as I am dead keen to get back gigging and having the craic playing music.

    I'm a guitar player and have been playing for around 6 years. I've just moved to the dublin area and am looking to get back into playing music (gigged alot as a teen; I'm 23 now)I'm more a rhythm guitarist but do enjoy the ol noodle up the neck once in a while...just don't be expecting any yngwie stuff!

    I'd be up for playing anything really; my favorite bands are Slayer, Sepultura, Death, Gojira, Isis, Mastodon but would also love to jam acoustic stuff like "marching on a dead end end" by arch enemy.

    I've got a few other guitarists who are up for jamming and so if any drummers out there are looking to jam, have a few beers and organize a few gigs, please pm me. Also pm if you have any other questions
