Retro Swimsuit/Honeymoon suggestions?

Hiya!

I'm off on my honeymoon soon to one of the Greek islands. I was wondering if anyone had seen any high waisted bikinis or retro looking swimsuits?

Also, any particularly cute floral dresses? I've been 'doing the rounds' but nothing jumps out at me.


I like 50s style stuff and I have quite a definite 'hourglass' shape, so things from that era suit me the best. I'm 5'5'' and a size 10-12.

Here's the spanner for the works- I have a super low budget what with saving up for the wedding and our house! This means H&M and Penney's and things of that ilk....

I was looking for exactly the same thing! I trawled the shops, there weren't that many 50s styles around!

The only other places I managed to find similar styles were Etsy and eBay. ASOS have high waisted bikinis but they don't look that high to me, below the belly button anyway.

Try Tesco, a week or two ago they had a fabulous navy and White polka dot strapless swimsuit, really fifties style, can't describe the bottom part of it properly but it's almost like fabric around your legs over the bottom, kind of covers up your hips a bit but it's not a skirt or anything. Eek think I described that very badly, sorry, can't find a photo

I got a lovely 50s style swimsuit in Penneys about two months ago, they may still have them. It was black with white polka dots, gathered on the side, halter neck.
