Parks with training equipment

    In Blessington St park they have a self weighted rower, a lateral pull down machine and some other stuff, anyone else know any other parks around with work out gear?

    Cabinteely Park is about the best public one around. Deer park is alright.

    Blackrock Park, Malahide Park and Sandycove Strand have similar to what you've mentioned above.

    There's one in Greystones which charges a nominal fee but is awesome.

    There's a bit thread over in the health and fitness forum about them.

    Father Collins Park in Clongriffin, Dublin 13 has a 13km tracks and various stations around it.

    It's gas they are all in what would be considered more affluent areas where paying for gym membership is probably less of an issue for people. That said they are probably less likely to be vandalised there!

    DLR council just seem to be on the ball tbh. I'd say the vandalising thing is probably an issue too.
