Primary school holiday calendar

    Does anyone know what the primary school holiday calendar is?

    1 week at halloween
    2 weeks at christmas
    2 weeks at easter
    1 week between easter and summer
    12 weeks summer holidays

    Is that right?

    That is incorrect

    Primary School Holidays are:

    Halloween Midterm 1 week
    Christmas 2 weeks
    Feb Midterm 2 days or 1 week depending on school. If they take a week they will stay open later in June
    Easter 2 weeks
    Summer 8/9 weeks approx

    Schools are open to provide tuition 183 days per year.

    So its somewhere between 5-6 weeks off during the year, excluding summer hols depending on the school.?

    Just trying to plan parental leave for next year, need to know how many weeks off I will need outside of summer hols.
