Just wondering, do both Spouses need to apply for a Mortgage together, or can just one apply on their own. Reason being, for bad credit rating on one of the Spouses credit history. Or can both apply and only part of the second income considered? If a joint application is made would the one spouse's bad credit history affect the whole application?

both would have to apply, any sort of bad credit or current loans will more than likley affect it.

    apply and see.
