    In my eyes it comes down to something as simple as Jesus & Miracles etc vs Dinosaurs, evolution from monkeys etc.. It boggles my mind that people believe in Jesus and all his miracles, im sure a man lived 2000 years ago who was nothing but a really good public speaker.

    Am i wrong to simplify it that much?

    But a lot of religious people don't. There are millions of people worldwide who still believe God created the world in 7 days and that the universe is only about 6,000 years old.

    Besides which, many more religious people nowadays believe in Intelligent Design; where evolution is true, but God was in control of it.

    Only people happy about the abuse are the scumbag priests who committed it. Dont insinuate a normal human being would take pleasure in this shít just to negate how it reflects on the church. Thats just pathetic.

    Technically theres no such thing as a monkey (its an artificial taxon like fish) but our ancestor was a primate.

    unless the catholic church agree to allowing priests marry it wont last another 50 years... the priests are dying out and not getting replacements fast enough for the church to remain in existance another 50 years.
