Automated PM notification everytime I come back to the forum

    I've the automated PM from Boards with the welcome message in my inbox.

    Everytime I come back to the site the notification shows up again.

    Pretty sure that's not normal forum behaviour?

    Have you read the PM? Or deleted it?

    I read it - then when I went away from the site and came back the PM notification was back.

    I read it again, and did the same, and it was back again.

    I've since deleted the PM.

    Nope it's gone now.

    Just thought it was strange the the PM notification kept reappearing.

    The PM noticifcation, as in the envolope displaying highlighted?

    Happens a lot for me, I just ignore it. If there's anything unread, it'll display how many unread messages you have underneath your name on the top righthand corner.

    I use the Beta skin and this uses sometimes - the PM and the icon for new posts in threads you've followed sometimes flashes yellow, even if you've read both the PM and the thread.
