What type of a gym are you after?

Is a pool a must, what type of equipment/classes etc

No just a gym -cross trainer/Treadmill type machines. Not pushed on pool. Used to use pool a lot but it doesn't have to be deal breaker.

Beefit would be the cheapest option for that type of requirements. Then planet health would also have a big range of CV equipment

Great thanks for that will go this week and check them out.

I think strand gym does on Monday nights and is open to non-members. Not too sure though. UL probably has it too.

Not quite boxercise but Eastway Fitness Club have just kicked off Limerick White Collar Boxing Club (rather than a finite timed camp). Don't have to get in the ring if you don't want to, loads doing it for just the fitness aspect - might be an option.

Hello, I've just moved to Limerick (Castletroy area) and am looking to join a gym - what are the some of the monthly fees for gyms in that area?

beefit is 20 a month, cheaper if you look out for deals on their facebook page. UL is 125 for 3 months.

I heard they have upgraded the showers and equipment in Dooradoyle gym?
Is anyone a member now? Used to be but thought it was very outdated so might consider rejoining if it has been refurbished and improved!

Do planet health offer a pay as you go system? Likewise with UL?

Anyone know how much they are?

Have a few hours in Limerick on a Saturday and would like to hit the gym

Knew planet health would be arip off, it is same in cork - way too expensive. Bee fit ,OFP and east way fitness centre all seems to be around same price.

Ridley rider not sure if beefit do pay as you go but u can sign up online for comp pass to try out the gym .

Very well equipped for strength work, benches, power racks, monolift etc

So ive been tempted to join a gym.

Beefit: are offering €19.99 per month. which i think is pretty
good. but im not sure what the condtions are like.
I know one guy complained about air con there.
Dominator: Are offering €99 for 3 months, this includes a free
PT lesson. Heavily towards the Bodybuilders.

Im interested in starting some sort of a bodybuilders training schedule.
However since im unemployed( as alot of people are) price is a big issue.

Also im looking for someone who is interested in doing the training with me.
They say hardest part of getting fit is putting on the shoes to go. But if u know ur gym buddy will be there, u are more likely to go.

So if ur interested, feel free to PM me.

    Sean(28)

Hey Sean, if you're looking to get into bodybuilding routines you couldn't go far wrong with Eastway Fitness club. 25 quid a month and it's run by a very accomplished bodybuilder and a martial arts expert :)

Sound crowd too if you ever need a spot :)
