Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    My sons E46 after
    2 coats of C2V3
Topped with 2 Coats of Collinite 845
and one coat of Britemax Vantage.

Was a bit of a pain to get it done between showers.
And just as it was finished it came down again.

Should see him though the winter :)

    OK
Following on from this thread I posted on the 4th October
Gave the combi a wash/dry and a second coating of Gtechniq C2V3.
That should see it sealed up for a few months.

Hard to show shine on silver but it is not looking too bad at all for the little amount of work involved.

    Door reflection

    IMG_0299_zpsc365e9f8.jpg

And of course the few water droplets :P

    IMG_0296_zps1e455434.jpg

The next morning gave me this nice beading.
    IMG_0307_zps93292e77.jpg

    [/URL]

Now after just about 4 weeks this is what I get.

I did think it would bead better than this after 4 weeks.
    The Collinite 845 would.

Will still give good protection, or at least you hope it would. Beading isnt the be all and end all....but sure is nice! ;)

    I guess.
But when the beads are gone the fun factor goes out the window :D

I suppose a diluted squirt of C2V3 as a qd should bring it back to life a bit.

Got some new stuff to try again anyhow :pac:

I think I last had the car waxed back in August, with two coats of CG Black over whatever was on the paint at the time. It was just a quick job to get the car through a 'ring trip. The weather has been so **** since that I haven't bothered with re-waxing the car yet for winter but I have been using Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax after each wash. The effects last about a week (which is perfect as the car is washed every week) but the water beading is as they claim, relentless.
