Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Holiday/ Summer Prep

    Hi Ladies of Boards!

My holidays are coming up soon. As it's been a few years since my last holiday, I'm quite excira!

Heres my prep so that I'm not a state come holiday time.

I hate my feet so am slathering my feet nightly in Burts Bees Coconut foot creme before slipping a pair of cotton socks atop. Hopefully this should make them sandal worthy!

I picked up some gorgeous Marks and Spencers Body Butters, 2 for €13 or €10 each. These are being lashed on twice daily. Quite similar to the Body Shop body butters and almost half the price!

My hair turns to a wreck in the sun so am trying to strengthen it a bit. Enter a coconut oil hair mask. Coconut oil melted in the microwave, lathered on my hair, plastic shower cap and towel added on top, then rinse, rinse and more rinsing!

    What about everyone else?

I just went on holiday, back now! :(

I did a home pedicure in my little foot spa (you can also using washing up bowl!) with warm water, buff off the hard skin and paint the toe nails a bright colour.

    A Brazilian from Brazilia.

A shellac in a bright pink.

Scrub with scrub-gloves to make skin smooth.

    A spray tan.

Lip conditioner so lips are soft and not dry.

And of course, freshly shaved legs!

Exfoliate to the max! The gloves Pythia mentioned are great, scrub in the shower then slather in body butter.

Don't just use the coconut oil for your hair, it's great for all over a really good moisturiser it will have your feet ready for sandals in no time!

Before you go, invest in the boots no7 lip and eye shimmer. It looks like a long lipstick in a matt gold case; its the best thing ever! it has an spf 35, great for daytime and evening and stays put in the water and heat. its about 8e.
The other thing is the spray on, leave in conditioner for daytime. The coconut one is non greasy and protects the hair and scalp in the sun. you can get it in the euro shops and chemists.
    Have a great hol!

Thank you! You just reminded me I had the Boots lip and eye stuff and I've just dug it out again. Love it.
