Bus service between Waterford and Cork.

Is Bus Eireann the only company that goes between the two or are there private operators that do the route as well?

They go pretty much every hour, on the hour. The only difference I know of is that there is none at 19.00, or 20.00, but there's one at 19.30. The last bus is at 21.00

It's been a while since I got it, but I think it's about 2hours 15 minutes.
They used to run express buses on Sunday nights for the students that didn't go into Dungarvan, Youghal or Midleton which was quicker. Not sure if they still run this though. Could be worth ringing them?
