35 Marathon Man

    A Waterford man,Alan Corcoran is hoping to complete 35 marathons (917Miles) in 35 days. It will be a lap of Ireland he is doing and he is doing so in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation after his father and former President of the FAI Milo Corcoran suffered a heart attack last year.

    Alan will be starting is 25 marathon in as many days today and will enter Limerick during todys Marathon. If you see him out please give him some encouragement along his way.

    Alan is starting todays marathon in Banratty, he will follow the N18 route, through Setright’s cross, and crossing the Limerick border at Condrinagh, before continuing into the heart of Limerick City and over the river Shannon. He will then travel south through Dooradale, past Fort Etna and Adare and finish for the evening in Rathkeale.
