Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Get an Apple TV box. I'd imagine they are about €75

Cables cost a lot and in the end of the day are more........cables.

Apple TV will quickly partner your iOS device to an HDTV and give you a LOT more for slightly more outlay as well as streaming audio and video to your TV (although it does of course add more cables itself).

However, when for example you can log into aertv.ie and stream RTÉ 2 HD to your set without wires, you can quickly see the benefits.

    A must-buy.

    no need for apple TV

This is what you need and a HDMI cable

Of course you don't need an Apple TV, BUT 40€ for that plus the cost of an HDMI cable! I'd get a 2nd-hand ATV 2 on eBay instead.

Ah, sure, an HDMI cable is only 2€ these days (now that the big rip-off has finally been seen through).

Thanks for all the replies, The Apple Cable might do me as I have all I need on the TV except Sky Sports which I have on the Ipad.

You can't watch Sky Sports on the TV via the iPad unless you jailbreak, and even then, I think Sky may have put a stop to that as well.

It won't work through Airplay mirroring?
