New HDD Help

Hiya
I have currently a 1TB WD drive in my computer. However i want another just to store my movies because they take up loads of room. So i was wondering do i have to buy the same harddrive for it to recognise both or is it just plug and play?

i presume the 1tb WD is inside (internal) hard drive?

Get a usb external hard drive ,of any make and plug it in a usb slot. And no problems

ye its internal. I was thinking of getting another hdd for movies but wondering how do i go about it and is it simply sata cable in and boom working.

it would be easyer and it some cases cheaper to buy and external but nevertheless.

get anyhard drive (that is sata) and ah fúckit , youtube link is easier than explaining it

i want an internal for space reasons. WHat do i have to do to install another hdd. Do i just plug it in and the pc will recognise it ?

Yes, just plug in the HDD and the PC will recognise it. You'll need to Right-Click on My Computer, go to Manage, under Storage click Disk Management then right click on the Unallocated Space and format it, simple as that. Internal will be cheaper than external and much faster.
