Is it too late to plant potatoes?

I've been thinking of growing some, but have I left it too late this year? I was thinking of getting some potatoes from a nearby farm and planting the smaller ones (I've worked for them in the past, they save smaller ones for seed potatoes).

I would imagine it is not too late to plant potatoes.
