    What are the consequences for being in mortgage arrears?
    Does that automatically give you a bad credit score?
    Would it affect you getting a loan in the future even if you get back on track after a year or so?

    Try banking, it's under business and personal. Short answer if you miss more than three payments they are obliged to report you to the icb. This stays on your record for five years.
