Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I actually like ulster bank. They're the best by far for business banking in my opinion.
It's just that they screwed up big time yesterday.

Two or three people I'd trust completely.. My friend picked up $2,500 in wages for me a few weeks ago cause I was on holiday but he's on holiday now so haven't had a chance to get it. Not even slightly worried.

I'm surrounded by people I trust with bits of money but only two Irish friends and now this one English lad that I'd trust with thousands.

    Sounds promising. :pac:

I usually trust corrupt bankers who need to get bailed out because they mismanagement their banking affairs...

I would trust my wife to be honest. However i dont always trust how she spends it. If that makes sense.

As regards Adam Clayton. I always think the less money you have the better. Judging by his court appearence the money does not matter to him. Its the principle.

From memory something simular happened to Gay Byrne with his accountant.

Certainly not Ulster Bank anyway! *****!

if only ya knew just how bad they really are... from bank manager's syphoning off money into their own accounts to dodgy computer systems, to government bailouts... makes ya wonder why on earth people bank with them.

    They robbed your piggy bank?

don't ever remember having thousands in my piggy bank when i was a kid. Its a long story, basically spent the inheritance money my parents left. Alot more than whats in a piggy bank or probably the average bank account to be honest!

I'd trust a couple of people, Primarily my mam, my boyfriend and my best friend. The latter two have run to the ATM for me in the past, as I have for them.

All of my direct family(7), though I figure one would 'dip' into it... would still trust em with it anyways.

I would trust all my family with any amount of money and at least one mate. I'd probably trust two people in work also but only because they trust me and could buy and sell my ass in a heartbeat.

If they where selling me Swiss Government bonds than yes.
you mean you disagree with the head of the swiss central bank when he says the franc is massively overvalued and the government might have to intervene? You would have a better chance in paddy power.

    My friend Paddy.

He took 69 summonses under the offences against the state act, and never mentioned me.

Also loaned me a deposit for my house.

It goes to the grave with that lad!

Yep, I've a handful of people I'd trust with everything I own. Considering that's not very much at all, the sentiment doesn't mean much :pac:

My mum, my closest friend and my younger sister.

The people I would definitely, under no circumstances, trust with it are my dad and my older sister.
