    Roughly €700, we would definitely prefer an LED, next in line an LCD and lastly Plasma.

    Closest I can get to that is a 47LW540 which I can do at €769.99 - including delivery..

    Great spec as well - LED / 100Hz / and 3D!

    Thats a great price as it retails at £650 / €800 from our UK cousins!

    I have a query though in relation to the added 5 year warranty .
    How does that operate for someone in the Republic, say Cork for instance,do I have to return the tv to your shop in the North if it develops a fault ??

    Looking at a TV as well.
    Looking for the best LED/Plasma for around €1k/€1200 range.
    Don't want 3D/Smart TV apps, networking/etc as I have a HTPC. Just want the best image I can for that money?

    Hi Glen.

    Unfortunately with the way that the TV manufacturers have gone with the current series, the 3D/smart etc will come in a lot of models even though you may not want it as they use these features as selling points for TV's in and around that sort of price bracket.

    Some of the best value 47" and upwards is coming from LG as the prices that are running at are great value for money.

    Eg. 47LM660 for €1250 including delivery.

    Alternatively we can do €1299 delivered on the LG 47LM670 which is one of the best TV's I've seen in a while. I know this may be over budget but this TV is amazing and I believe we have the cheapest price in Ireland on this model.

    If you really want to go large, we can also offer the 55" LM620 for just 1479 Euro delivered.

    We can also offer the 5 year on any of the above TV's for 10% of the price of the TV.

    My personal choice would be the 47LM670 and I reckon that it's the best 47" TV below £1300 at the moment.

    Let me know what you make of these.

    Just spotted that this had not been replied to !

    The 5 year is an at-home warranty and covers the TV anywhere in Eire or NI.

    You do not have to return it to us.

    We come and get it from you and return it to you once repaired.
