Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

This may not be in the right section (unless our new definition of beauty is faces painted like tigers etc!) but does anyone know where cheapest and best to get facepainting sponges in Dublin? Its for water based paint (Snazaroo) so I think it need to be a high density sponge.

    Thanks

I reckon any triangular blending sponges from a pharmacy would do - there's a range in a purpley-pink pack on a rotating stand that is cheap as chips, they do everything from hair bands to brushes and sponges, I *think* the brand is called impulse, or something like that.

You need to use snazaroo sponges , theyre cosmetic quality but not as flexible as make up ones. you should get them anywhere you get snazaroo. Mine were 4 for €2.75

Thanks, I ordered some of those. Now thing is, ill be doing quite a few faces. Do I need a fresh sponge for each child? It says the Snazaroo paints have antibacterial ingredient, do you think that's enough? Plan to get each to clean face with babywipe first.

I bought a hige bag of make up sponges in Dunnes a couple of says ago. I think there are 20+ in a bag. The sponges are a bit smaller than the ones you get in a pharmacy but then if you are doing small kids' faces that may be a good thing. I think they were a couple of euros.
