Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There is absolutely nothing you can do about getting riddled with stretchmarks when you're pregnant, no amount of lotions & potions will truly prevent them, it's genetic disposition.

There is no such thing as evil.
All the so called evil things in this life, you too would do, given particular circumstances.
No matter how much you think you wouldn't possibly be capable of something, you would.

People generally look after their own self interest, it's not only human nature, it's life form nature. That's why it's best to judge people by their actions and not their words.

    agree and disagree

fifteen years ago i would never have admitted to being capable of killing someone ( not that i have killed anyone btw ) , on the other hand i still believe doing so is in most cases an act of evil

luck is the single most important factor in how someones life turns out , those who dismiss it are so lucky , they are oblivisous to all the bad luck they dodged

Science will never be able to explain how rainbows are formed.

No matter what time you go to bed you will always wake up.

If all the people and animals in the world were placed at either one of the poles the weight distribution would cause Earth to fly out of the solar system.

rainbows are formed by the prism effect when light shines through a droplet of water.

one day you will go to sleep and may never wake up

bull plop. it wouldn't change earth's orbit but possibly its axis

erm are rainbows formed by droplets of moisture creating the effect of a prism or something like that ?

If everyone in the world shouted as loud as they could at the same time it could be heard from as far as the planet saturn - if saturn had people.

A recent scientific study that was referenced in an article I read recently sited that the brain actually generated new cells, I think it was in relation to repair from a trauma our something. I saw it over a month ago so i'm sketchy on some details.
Goes to show how little we still know about the brain and how amazing our bodies can be.

My harsh truth is that some people are just misery guts that want to drag other people into their whiney cognitive fugue.

It's bad enough to be first against the wall, but being put there by Thom Yorke is even worse. Sorry Thom, if you're reading :(.
