    Is she okay?

    Does she need time off?

Is it not a bit strange to have a news anchor that they can't do a close up of?

Must be where they tried to insert the personality chip! :pac:

The lack of personality is probably what makes her able to spend her life reading out stuff from an autocue without hitting the bottle.

For those who haven't seen it, this is what she looks like:

Firstly, that's a terrible thing to say.

Secondly, can you describe exactly what you mean?

I'd describe what I mean but there might be kids reading! Use your imagination.

It's sad that in Ireland this woman is considered attractive. On the continent she would be Sharon Ni Average.

I think that's what they used to call an artist's impression.

I shamefully admit to finding her very attractive on Turas Teanga... :o:o:o;)

Well, that was eight years ago. ;)

It's new make up they're trying out.

They tested it on an inconspicuous patch like the instructions said.

Looked to me like something used to hold her hair in that position, clearly visible when it's probably not meant to be.

The Irish Independent or the Sunday Independent featured a little snippet on Sharon's Bandage the other day. The cause of the injury was not revealed, but apparently it's healing nicely.

looks like a Dell Latitude D630 which would be at least 4 years old now, you think the budget would stretch to a new one

    Will we ever know?

Nah, they could just use hairspray. It's funny they couldn't cover the plaster with concealer (there's some really great ones that wouldn't even be noticeable e.g. keromask, dermablend), but I suppose it's the information that people should be watching for, not what she looks like :)

They spend enough on her clothes, though, don't they?

Not like they need a heavy duty laptop to sit on the desk as a prop. The all read from the telly prompter anyway.

I wouldn't have a clue about that stuff but given the amount of makeup out there it's not surprising, odd though as you say, they didn't cover it better.

My second guess, she walked into an open door.

Isn't that the best sort to walk into? Walking into a closed door for instance, would be much worse.

No, through the doorway would be best, not into the door.

Without a doubt the plaster is covering surgical scarring from a facelift.
