    Hey,

Looking into getting a room in apartment for the summer and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations or experience in taking room in one of the student places during the summer. Ive been having a look at some of the UCC places and they are around 70 quid a week. Seems pretty decent.

Anyone know of any other places offering summer rooms or apartments for similar price range?

    Any tips would be great.
    Cheers

You should be able to get a room for the summer in a student house for 50euro or so.
Take a walk up barrack street and you'll see plenty of signs up.

The student village near the county hall is good value and well run with car parking and 24hr secutity in a gated complex, I think it's about €60 per week

Exactly this. A friend of mine is renting a decent enough place on College Rd for the Summer for €60 a week including bills. A house would definitely be cheaper. Good luck :)
