Looking for some mobile Co advice.

    Hi,

I'm currently in the process and looking to move from the UK back to Ireland in a few months due to work.

In the UK I have an O2 mobile contract, could I please have some advice from people on here recommending a good network with decent Irish mobile coverage. I've already looked at O2 Ireland but some of their contracts look quite expensive and they don't offer any New Customer deals

Thank you for any advice given.

    K :)

You haven't given us any clue as to your usage pattern so I don't think anyone here can answer your question, horses for courses and all that.

You can talk direct to O2 on this forum (link below), I suggest you start a new thread, outline your usage pattern and see what they recommend.

Otherwise these are the main Irish networks, Tesco uses the O2 network

Have you looked a prepay options?

On 48months you can get unlimited calls and texts for €10 per month and 3gb of data for an extra €10 a month if you want it.

With Three you can get 3000 weekend minutes, 3000 texts, 3000 Three to Three minutes, and unlimited data for €20 per month and you also keep your €20 as credit.

On billpay the best deal right now seems to be this one from eMobile it depends on your usage though.

Most networks give away free pre pay sims (Vodafone charge 10euro but give you 10 euro credit). Get some and test them out to see how coverage is where you'll live work and play. Once you find who's best then you can look closer at their plans.
