    Get down to at least the farmers market, great atmosphere and the weather is meant to be great for us!

    Sunday 24th June
    10am til 6pm we boast the largest and most stunningly located Farmers Market in Ireland. There will be stalls from The Spinnaker Bar & Restaurant, The Strand Inn, Azzurro Bar & Restaurant, The Haven Hotel, The Lemon Tree Café serving food to eat at the market and a Pig on a Spit cooked by Ronan Joy

    Arts & Crafts fair in the Fishermans Hall
    The Friends of the Fishermans Hall will host a fund raising “Garden Party”
    in the community garden behind the Fishermans Hall. Drop in for a cuppa, some advice on planting and enjoy the view with a chance to get some vegetable seedlings for your own garden

    Air & Sea Rescue Demonstration by the local Coast Guard Air Corp

    RNLI open day with The Blessing of the Boats

    WLR FM will have their Outside Broadcast Unit on the harbour to keep the buzz and craic going all day

    The Adventure Centre will have their 12 metre rock climbing wall in place on
    the harbour, get a gulls eye view of the market, harbour, coastline and estuary.
    Climbs for children and adults €3 per person

    The Strand Inn music at 5pm with Evan & Michael

    The Haven Hotel will have a family fun day on the lawn with a bouncy castle
    and slide, ice cream van, face painting and live music

    The Spinnaker
    Bar music at 8pm with Paul Power, you pick the song and he
    plays it!

    Just back from the market, it's very good. I only wish I'd bought more ciabatta from the bread stall it's superb.
