House down the road, (alarm going off)

As I speak a house down the road a alarm is going off, anybody have idea what to do? I think somebody may have broken in because it's weird how it hasn't been stopped yet.

Or it could be the owners are away.
You could call the Guards and ask them to check it out. As regards getting it turned off there is little you can do. Either way there is no harm putting a polite note in their door asking them to get their alarm checked out. Newer systems to EN50131 should cut out after 15 minutes.
