Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If he managed to get away with whatever he got up to, I dread to think what the present bunch are up to thinking they'll get away with it as well. All of the parties are the same, despite what they stand for. They've all got their jolly old pals to look after.

I think his legacy will be that he took a country that had a freakish spell of prosperity unseen in Irelands history and un-matched across the globe. This small country with little to show for itself became an overnight success, he took it and drove it off the cliff.

Think about it, Ireland and the Irish government made so much money. Where did they spend it? Roads were mainly funded by the EU, same with the rail..so where did it go? Hospitals, Gardai? I don't think so.

Ahern, Cowan, McCreevey and some of the 'top' people in the Dept of Finance should be marched, along with a few bankers, up O'Connell street, stood in front of the GPO and shot dead for treason.

    Wishful thinking I know.......

Every one of the above uses the Bart Simpson excuse, 'I didn't do it'.

We are responsible too for choosing our leaders so we must take some of the blame .We knew the Fianna Fail Product was dodgy and the others too . Those men reflect our own sentiments . I only voted to keep others out of power ....and probably many others felt the same too .
