Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just looking for an iPhone car cradle which has a charger built into it but finding it hard to find anything decent. Anyone have any recommendations? Would be looking for one that doesn't mount off the windscreen but don't mind having to put in a few screws if needs be.

I have one installed in the jeep, but without a built in charger. Instead I wired in a USB charger off the cig lighter. It sits inside the A pillar. Cost 8 quid on eBay and I attached it to a Nokia car mount, will put up a pic in a few if you interested

Here's the one I installed, it does the job quite well, haven't found an alternative yet

Carcomm are the only people Ive found that do a propper iphone cradle that has charging and audio out that you dont have to connect any cabled or anything just drop in.

Ive bought different carcomm cradles for years depending on the iphone model Ive had and they all work perfectly, really sturdy and will bolt on to the car,

you can get them on expansys.ie or other sites , bit expensive (sometimes approaching 100 ) but definitely worth it

The tomtom cradle is great for iPhone. , has a charger and bluetooth kit built in. Costs about €70-80 but is a great investment.

Some good stuff there guys, thanks. The home made one from the old nokia cradle is a nice job. I like the carcomm one as well because it just drops in and no attaching of cables. Anyone have any experience of using these
