€400 gaming PC?

Hey guys! I'm kind of new to Pc building so I need a little help? I was wondering could I get a basic gaming PC that can run new game like max payne, skyrim and BF3 on medium-low settings. I want this PC to have wireless internet connection and to be easily upgradable for the future when I get more money. Any tips?

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? [1920x1080/1440x900/etc.] [Yes/No]

6. Do you need any of these peripherals? [Keyboard/Mouse/Wireless Card/Card Reader/Speakers/etc.]

7. Are you willing to try overclocking? [Yes/No]

8. How can you pay? [Bank Transfer/Credit Card/Laser]

9. When are you purchasing? [In x days]

10. If you need help building it, where are you based? [South Dublin City/Cork City/Kerry/etc.]

I dont think you'll be able to get anywhere near what you want with that budget. The monitor and a copy of windows alone will take up half your budget.

Full version (professional), but not every student can get access to it, only those in tech-related courses as far as I know.

I signed up as soon as I read your post. I'm doing Mech Engineering. All i see is Windows embedded standard 7. Pretty sure its 32 bit too.

Forgot to mention that it's college-specific, I'm at DCU and we get pretty much every version of Windows 7 Professional for free, along with things like Visual Studio 2008. Some places apparently get Ultimate, which I want for BitLocker :mad:

Ah. I thought I had another €55 to spend on my rig. That's what you get for going to tallaght I guess.
