This has been reported as at the railway bridge on the Cheekpoint Road in Passage East.

As best I can determine, there has never been a railway in the area.

Yes that's the bridge in question. I believe that the bridge was originally built for a railway to Passage East years ago. However the railway never got the go ahead, and the road was built over it so as not to waste the bridge!!

Terrible pity that the young chap has been killed and sincere sympathies to his family and friends. That bridge can be very dangerous at times when there is a lot of traffic.
