Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have never had my hair dyed before and I was thinking of getting Balayage done at the style club. Do you need to get a patch test done first. That would involved two trips up to Dublin, or can you do it at home?

I can't stress enough how important patch tests are.

Balayage is a brighter colour at the ends of your hair and darker at the top. This may involve you having tint applied to your scalp. Style Club are an extension of Peter Mark, if you have a PM local to you they could carry out the patch test on behalf. But you would need to make sure that this will be acceptable for SC.

you can get a.patch test done at any petermark salon, they're linked so use the same dyes. that's what they told me in February, best ring them to make sure though

I am a full on dark brunette, so I doubt they would go too close to my scalp??

they won't do it unless youve had a patch test, its their policy, I'm.sure its an insurance requirement too

Does peter mark itself do balayage?? Is it good there? I have heard great reviews about style club.. It would save me having to go all the way to dublin

Called up Peter Marks, they will do a patch test at anytime. And they also do balayage! Saves a trip up to Dublin . Never asked the cost though :/. I'm sure its around the same as they style club, maybe less?

im pretty sure style club is cheaper than all peter marks I've checked and its much better than any peter mark salon I've tried. maybe its just my experience but i must have visited at least 5 different peter mark salons and that are no where near as good in terms of service and attention to detail than style club.

    up to you though
