Ideas and Cost for Garden renovation.

I've a 60th coming up for my mum and was thinking of doing up / renovating the back garden (22ft wide x 30ft long) nothing too extravagant , at the moment there's a lawn (which needs replacing) and an area I slabbed (with patio slabs) at the end that holds a table and chairs and a BBQ and of course the obligatory shed that…

I've a 60th coming up for my mum and was thinking of doing up / renovating the back garden (22ft wide x 30ft long) nothing too extravagant , at the moment there's a lawn (which needs replacing) and an area I slabbed (with patio slabs) at the end that holds a table and chairs and a BBQ and of course the obligatory shed that sits in the corner.
What I'm looking to do is replace the lawn as the old one is bare in places and full of weeds.
Maybe take up the slabs and put something else down (not decking)
And maybe sleepers either side of the garden to raise the flower bedding up.

So would anyone have an idea of time/cost/equipment needed ?
