Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The situation here is as follows:
I am 19 year old student. I recently finished LC. I expect going to - DIT. I live in Dublin. But it seems that there is a little difficulty - me and my girlfriend we want to live together in Dublin. As she lives quite far away from Dublin we both want to move in as close as possible to College we are expecting to get in.
    So here is the question:
Will our grant be affected if we move away from parents?
I'm looking forward to hear your answer.
Any great answer will be appreciated.!!!

P.S - Maybe there is any good advice you would like to make, Ill be happy to hear it too
Thank you and have a nice day!!!

The distance will be calculated from your parents residence as you are under 23. Your girlfriends income will not ne taken into account either as you are under 23 so only your income and your parents can be taken into account. Apply now and get the ball rolling.

    Hope this helps.

Definitely. You're 19 and want to move in with your gf for college? What happens when you two break up?

I'm not trying to be a dick just realistic.

Best to ask in the Student Finances forum OP: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=1101
